Subprocessors
We keep this list short on purpose — every vendor is another party with access to your data. These are the ones we use and exactly what each one sees.

When the advertising and analytics rows apply
In the United States and in Canada outside Quebec, Analytics and Advertising are on by default: we tell you so in a notice when you arrive, and you can switch either off in one click, there or at any time from Your privacy choices. Everywhere else, including Quebec and anywhere we cannot tell where you are, both are off until you accept. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser always turns Advertising off, wherever you are, and cannot be overridden by clicking accept. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
Account emails (verification and password reset) are sent by Cloudflare Email Sending rather than a separate email vendor — deliberately, so that using the product doesn't hand your email address to one more company. Mail you send to a closerev.com address is received by Cloudflare too: a message to support@ becomes a case in our own system, with its attachments kept in our own storage, and our team's mailbox receives a copy of the text without the attachments.
What we don't use
No data brokers and no session-replay trackers. Three advertising tags exist — Google's, LinkedIn's and Reddit's — on the public site only, with one exception: the confirmation shown right after you confirm your email or pay, where Google's tag reports that one event if Advertising is on. Google's tag runs for everyone in a cookieless mode that identifies nobody, and sets cookies and builds audiences only while Advertising is on; LinkedIn's and Reddit's do not load until it is. Our own page counting runs on every public page — never on a signed-in page — and keeps only daily totals with no identifier of any kind: no cookie, no address, no browser. It is never used for advertising or shared.
Changes
Before adding or replacing a subprocessor we email the owner of every workspace at least 30 days in advance. You may object, and if we cannot resolve the objection you may end the affected service, as set out in the DPA. Anyone else who would like the same notice can ask at privacy@closerev.com.
